Oh Well

Pois bem, acho que tenho levado as minhas promessas demasiado a sério. Na verdade já não me resta tempo nem para respirar.

Ontem passei a tarde no Museu Nacional de História Natural, no Jardim Botânico e no borboletário de Lisboa (mais acerca disso mais tarde). Seguiu-se um lanche com uma amiga com quem não estou com muita frequência, embora estejamos bem perto uma da outra. 

Tenciono postar acerca de tudo isso em breve porque o programa cultural valeu tanto a pena, embora ache que não lhe vou conseguir fazer jus com as fotografias que tenho. 

Ainda assim, hoje fui calcorrear a cidade com a minha prima que, embora ainda seja uma criança aos meus olhos, está demasiado alta-bonita-inteligente-crescida. Por outro lado, tem-se revelado uma ótima companhia e sinto-nos mais como irmãs do que primas.

Hoje fomos até Belém e acabámos o dia com umas bem merecidas bolachas de chocolate! ;)

Oh well, I've been taking my promises far too serious. I actually have no time to breathe. 

Yesterday I spent the afternoon at the Natural History Museum, Botanical Garden and at the Butterfly House (more about that later), followed by an afternoon snack with a long time friend that I don't get to see very often since I've moved to Lisbon, though we both live in the same city currently. 

I inted to post about all that soon, because it is so very worth it, even if I can't make it look as cool as it actually is. 

Still, today I wandered around the city with my cousin who still looks like a baby to me but is actually way too tall-beautiful-smart-grown-up for me to accept the reality. On the other hand she's becoming quite a good company and I feel us more like sisters, which is pretty cool to me because it means I am the boss for once in life (just kidding). ;) 

Today we headed to Belém and ended the day with some well deserved chocolate chip cookies!
